Mr. Marco mormone

Senior Strategic Advisor

Mr. Marco Mormone is a strategic advisor, investor and business angel.

After graduating, Mr. Mormone started his career in consulting at Efeso Solving in Milan, where he led projects, mainly in the manufacturing environment, aimed at improving business efficiency, using TPM, Lean and Six-Sigma methodologies. After four years he moved to the UK and joined Tefen, where he led Operation Strategy consulting projects, mainly for pharmaceutical and service companies. Subsequently, Mr. Mormone joined Boxwood, where he was director (and shareholder), selling and delivering Strategy projects for companies operating in the technology, pharmaceutical, retail, and infrastructure sectors. Boxwood was then acquired by KPMG UK, and Mr. Mormone stayed on working as director for three years, before founding his own consulting and data science firm Arca Blanca in 2018.

Arca Blanca is a leader in the UK in the use of data science applied to solving strategic business problems. Four years after its foundation, the company employs 50 highly specialized people, equally distributed among strategic consultants, data scientists and technologists. Arca Blanca has won several awards, including best new consulting firm in the UK in 2020 from the Management Consultant Association (MCA) and with individual projects having won awards in the best strategy and best business transformation projects in the UK.

Mr. Mormone is also a business angel and investor in various start-ups and start-up incubators; he sits on the board of directors of the Chelsea and Westminster Hospitals Schools Trust (the charity governing the schools operating in Chelsea and Westminster hospitals in London).

Mr. Mormone earned a MS degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Naples.
