Dr. Mario Guarracino is an Associate Professor of Statistics at the University of Cassino and Southern Lazio. He is a data scientist and an expert in data analytics, with a focus on studying algorithms, methods, and tools for analyzing big data and artificial intelligence. He places particular emphasis on the paradigm of ethicality and explainability and aims to research and develop new methodologies based on mathematical programming and statistical learning theory. 

Through his expertise, Dr. Guirracino helps solve scientific and economic problems and assists professionals in understanding them. He continuously engages in discussions with professionals, economists, and businesses from different countries, which has enabled him to resolve open problems and undertake new challenges.

In 2023, Dr. Guarracino founded “InDatis” to combine research and innovation with a business-oriented “academic” approach to help companies in any sector grow, develop, and protect their business consciously. He works with the InDatis group, and also holds Statistics, Statistical Learning, Data Mining, and Data Analytics courses for economic and business sciences.
